Alden played in all 27 games for the Golden Wolves during his senior campaign and was named an assistant team captain for the second straight year. Alden ranked third on Alvernia in points with 21 off seven goals and 14 assists. Alden recorded four multipoint games in 2023-2024, he scored a goal and added two assists in wins over Neumann and Stevenson, he netted a hattrick in a 5-3 victory over Chatham and in a 7-2 victory over Buffalo State, Alden recorded four assists which set a new single game Alvernia record for assists in a game. Alden also scored goals against Stevenson and Utica and recorded assists in both games against Wilkes, Chatham, Arcadia, King’s and Manhattanville. Alden led the Golden Wolves in faceoff wins with 288, including a season high 21 against King’s and Rivier, he blocked seven shots, fired 49 shots on goal and finished with a +24 plus/minus rating. Alden finished his career with 90 games played, 13 goals and 39 assists for a total of 52 points between Plattsburgh State and Alvernia. As a Golden Wolf, Alden played in 52 of 53 possible games for Alvernia, recorded nine goals and 26 assists for a total of 35 points and recorded 456 of his 466 career faceoff wins in an Alvernia uniform. Alden was one of the first captains named in program history and was also a member of the team that recorded the first playoff win in program history with a 6-1 victory over Manhattanville in the UCHC Playoffs.
2022-2023 (Junior)
Alden played in 25 of 26 games for the Golden Wolves and was a member of Alvernia’s inaugural NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey team while also being selected as an assistant team captain. Alden finished the season with 14 total points, netting two goals and 12 assists. Alden found the back of the net twice in a 4-3 win over Albertus Magnus and recorded two assists three times, with them coming against Wilkes, Arcadia and Lebanon Valley. Alden fired 53 shots on goal, which ranked fifth on Alvernia and tallied a season high five against Arcadia. Alden blocked 11 shots in 2022-2023 and recorded 168 faceoff wins, which was second on the team, posting a .420 faceoff percentage.
