Lopes played in 22 games for Alvernia during his first year and recorded three points and finished fourth in blocked shots with 20. Lopes recorded his first collegiate point when he assisted Will White in a victory over King’s and also netted his first collegiate goal and added an assist in a victory over Lebanon Valley in the regular season finale. Lopes fired 29 shots on goal during the season and tallied a season high four blocked shots in a 2-2 tie against Wilkes.
