Wright played in and started in all 16 games on the defense for the Golden Wolves during his sophomore campaign. Wright led both the Golden Wolves and the MAC Commonwealth in caused turnovers with 35 and also caused turnovers per game with 2.19. Wright recorded a season high five caused turnovers against Juniata, King’s and Keystone and only had three games where he did not cause a turnover. Wright also scored three goals in 2024 with goals against McDaniel, York and Rosemont. Wright also scooped up 69 ground balls and was second on Alvernia next to faceoff taker Jack Kenney.
2023 (First Year)
Wight started in all 16 games for the Golden Wolves defense during his first year and finished with seven goals and one assist for a total of eight points. Wright tallied a goal and an assist in his collegiate debut against Rosemont where he assisted Ryan Gilman on the game winning goal in OT. Wright netted goals in the first five games, against Rosemont, Mt. Saint Mary, Immaculata, McDaniel and Carin, he then netted two goals later in the season against Widener. Wright ripped 24 shots, put 15 on target, four of his seven goals were man-up goals, he scooped up 66 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers during 2023.
