Sabarese played in all 16 games for the Golden Wolves and started in all 16 of those games and recorded 859 minutes played. Sabarese recorded a conference high 254 saves and his 15.88 saves per game also led the MAC Commonwealth. Sabarese finished 2024 with a 63.2% save percentage, which ranked him at the top of the MAC Commonwealth and also was the fifth best save percentage in the nation. Sabarese also recorded the best goals against average in program history with a 10.34 GAA. Sabarese recorded a season high 26 saves against York and tallied 25 against Stevenson, 22 against Widener and his final 20 save game came against Messiah where he tallied 21. Sabarese only had one game in 2024 that he recorded less than ten saves, which came against Mt. St. Mary when he tallied nine saves. Sabarese picked up 52 ground balls and caused four turnovers on the season as well. Sabarese also was selected as the MAC Commonwealth Goalie of the Year and became the first Alvernia Men’s Lacrosse player to be selected as a conference “Of the Year” award winner. Sabarese was also selected as an Honorable Mention All-American Goalie and became the program’s first All-American selection and was the first player in program history to be selected as a first team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree.

Sabarese started all 16 games for the Golden Wolves in net and played every available minute during his sophomore campaign. Sabarese finished with 266 saves on the season, the most by an Alvernia goalie since 2019, he recorded a save percentage of 55.3% and faced 725 shots during the season. Sabarese tied his career high in saves against York where he tallied 26 saves, he also made 25 saves against Stevenson and 22 against Widener. Sabarese’s 55.3% save percentage ranked second in the MAC Commonwealth and his 266 saves led the conference, finishing with over 50 more saves than the next player. Sabarese also led the MAC Commonwealth in saves per game with 16.63 and finished with a 4-12 record in 2023, which is the most wins by a goalie in a single season for Alvernia since Brandon Weaver in 2013. Sabarese’s All-MAC Commonwealth honorable mention honors makes him the first goalie in program history to earn All-Conference honors and is the first Golden Wolf since 2019 to earn All-MAC honors.
2022 (First Year)
Sabarese played in 13 games for Alvernia during his first year and made ten starts in those 13 games. Sabarese finished with 460 total minutes played, he made 135 saves including a career high 26 saves against Westminster. Sabarese averaged 10.38 saves per game in 2022, he picked up 36 ground balls and caused three turnovers.
