Poles played in 19 games for the Golden Wolves in his first year, he made nine starts and recorded a total of 844 minutes played. Poles was a part of a defensive unit that kept six shutouts, including shutout victories over PSU Harrisburg, Eastern, Albright, Widener and St. Elizabeth in the ECAC quarterfinal. Poles tallied two total shots in 2023, one against Lebanon Valley and the second in a victory over York. Poles was also a member of the 2023 ECAC Championship team.
