Appeared and started in all 21 games during his senior season. He had 97 saves as goalie with a record of 10-10-1. Ranked second in the conference for shutouts (8) and fifth for saves per game (4.62). He sits at number 1 in Alvernia history with most saves (387) and most shutouts (27).

Started all 22 games in goal for the Crusaders. Notched 7 shutouts, blanking Geneva in the ECAC semifinals. Recorded a career-high 16 saves in the ECAC Championship victory over Penn-State Behrend, earning the tournament MVP. Named Alvernia Athlete of the Week twice (9/7, 11/16) and MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week three times (9/8, 9/27, 10/5). Rider earned both honors in the same week (9/7) after posting a 0.69 goals against average in a 1-1-1 week for the Crusaders. Rider gave up just one goal with three saves in a 4-1 win over PSU-Berks. The sophomore made two saves in a 0-0 draw against MAC Freedom favorite Eastern, and allowed just one penalty kick goal in a 1-0 loss to No. 12 Franklin & Marshall.
