Justin Gibbs is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Alvernia men’s volleyball team.
Gibbs spent two years playing for Alvernia as the starting setter and was a two year captain. During his senior season, Gibbs was nominated and participated the 2017-2018 NCAA Student Athlete Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. where he got to sharpen his leadership skills on and off the court. Gibbs helped lead Alvernia to its first ever MAC playoff appearance during his senior season.
Gibbs is originally from Denver, PA, and was on the second and third team in the Lancaster-Lebanon League as a player at Cocalico High School. Gibbs also played three seasons for the Red Rose volleyball club.
Gibbs earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Alvernia in 2018 and is pursuing is MBA at Alvernia.
