Fitzgerald played in all 39 games for the Golden Wolves during her sophomore campaign and started in 38 of those games. Fitzgerald led the Golden Wolves with a .411 batting average and ranked fifth in the MAC Commonwealth in batting average and third in stolen bases with 21. Fitzgerald recorded 51 hits with 11 doubles, one triple, drove in 15 runs and scored 32 runs while working a team high 22 walks. Fitzgerald posted a 1.019 on base plus slugging percentage in 2024 and recorded a hit in 30 of Alvernia’s 39 games. Fitzgerald also tallied 15 multi hit games during the season including a season high four hits against Widener where she went 4-4 with two runs scored, a double, an RBI and three stolen bases. Fitzgerald also recorded three hits in both games against Ursinus, Albright and Immaculata and was a perfect 24-24 on stolen bases. Fitzgerald recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in 2024 with 41 putouts and three assists on 44 chances and did not commit an error. Fitzgerald joined teammates Maggie Loomis and Taylor McClain as NFCA All-Region selections and also was named All-MAC Commonwealth for the second straight season with First Team Outfielder honors.

Fitzgerald played in 30 of Alvernia’s 32 games during her first year and made starts in all 30 of those games. Fitzgerald batted .330 with 33 hits on an even 100 at bats, she tallied 19 runs scored, drove in 15 runs and recorded three doubles. Fitzgerald worked eight walks, was a perfect 23-23 on stolen bases and struckout only nine times in 2023. Fitzgerald’s 33 hits led the Golden Wolves, she also led in stolen bases and at bats. Fitzgerald recorded 28 total putouts and finished the season with a .938 fielding percentage.
