Matthews played in ten games for the Golden Wolves during the 2024 campaign and started against Otterbein in Florida. Matthews recorded a hit and a run scored against Mount Union and worked a walk against Dickinson. Matthews also played in games against Regis, Calvin, Messiah, Rutgers-Camden, Albright and Eastern in 2024.
