Biography

2024 (Senior) 
  • MAC Academic Honor Roll
LaScala played in 33 games for the Golden Wolves during her senior season and made starts in 31 games. LaScala recorded 29 hits with seven doubles and was tied for the most triples on Alvernia with three. LaScala also scored 20 runs, drove in 16 runs, worked five walks, four hit by pitches and recorded a .319 batting average. LaScala tallied hits in 19 games this season and recorded eight multi hit games. LaScala went 2-2 with a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored i a victory over Regis in Florida, went 2-3 with four RBIs, two runs scored and a double in a win over Immacolata and also recorded three hit games against Elizabethtown and the season finale against York College. In the field, LaScala recorded 29 putouts and two assists on 35 chances. LaScala finished her Golden Wolves career with 70 games played, 48 starts, 42 hits, 26 RBIs, 33 runs scored, nine doubles and four triples. LaScala is a career .275 hitter, has stolen 22 bases and has a career .725 on base plus slugging percentage. LaScala was also a three time MAC Academic Honor Roll honoree in her career at Alvernia. 

2023 (Junior)

LaScala appeared in 18 games for the Golden Wolves during the 2023 campaign and started in nine games. LaScala tallied nine hits on 31 at bats for a .290 batting average, with one double and one triple. LaScala tallied five RBIs, scored six runs and stole seven bases, she worked two walks and struck out only once. LaScala recorded all 65 putout chances that she had, finishing with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. 

2022 (Sophomore)

LaScala played in 19 games for Alvernia and started eight games in 2022. LaScala tallied four hits with one double, she drove in five runs, scored seven runs, worked four walks and stole four bases. LaScala recorded 53 putouts on 55 chances and finished with a .964 fielding percentage.
