McClain played in 38 games for the Golden Wolves during her first year and started in 36 of those games. McClain recorded a .348 batting average during the 2024 season with 40 hits, six doubles, two triples and a team high 30 RBIs. McClain scored 23 runs, worked 20 walks and struck out just five times. McClain recorded hits in 24 games, tallying 11 multi-hit games including four three hit games. McClain tallied three hits and three RBIs against Regis and Albright and also recorded three hits against Hood and Stevenson. McClain went 12-13 on stolen bases during the year, recorded five sacrifice hits and in the field, McClain recorded 50 putouts, 109 assists on 164 chances and committed just five errors for a .970 fielding percentage. McClain was selected as a first team All-MAC Commonwealth shortstop as a first year player and was the first Alvernia Softball player to earn first team All-MAC Commonwealth honors as a first year since Amanda Turner was selected as a first team designated player in 2014.
