Michael Dooley joined the Alvernia Women's Basketball coaching staff in September of 2017.
Prior to joining Alvernia, Dooley was an assistant coach/defensive coordinator for the Cecil College Women's Basketball team for the 2016-17 season. During Dooley's time with Cecil, the Seahawks went 19-8. Under Dooley, the Seahawks held opponents to just a 0.29 shooting percentage. Dooley is also a skills development coach for Point Blank Period, LLC, which is the skill development team for the PIAA State Champion Reading High School Boys Basketball team.
Dooley is a 2016 graduate of Temple University's Fox School of Business. During his time at Temple, Dooley served as a volunteer coach for the Temple University Women's Basketball team.
