Leonard wrestled in 42 matches for the Golden Wolves and recorded a career high 36 wins. Leonard finished with a 36-6 overall record with 18 victories coming by way of a tech fall, seven by fall, five by decision and four by major decision. Leonard recorded a third place finish at the MAC Championships in the 141 pound weight class, a first place finish at the Tonee Ellis Memorial Tournament and a second place finish at the Petrofes Invitational at Messiah. Leonard was also nationally ranked multiple times in the 141 pound weight class with his highest ranking being ninth in the nation. Leonard also helped lead the Golden Wolves to a 19-5 overall team record in the 2023-2024 season including the team title at the Virginia Duals and a second place team finish at the MAC Championships.

Leonard wrestled in 43 matches for the Golden Wolves during his first year and posted a 32-11 overall record. Leonard punched his ticket to the NCAA National Championships with a third place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional in the 141 pound weight class and earned second team All-MAC honors with a runner up finish at the MAC Championships. Leonard recorded 13 wins by decision, eight wins by major decision, six pins and two technical falls during the 2022-2023 campaign. Leonard also helped lead the Golden Wolves to second place team finishes at both the MAC Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional.
