Biography
2023-2024 (Sophomore)
Flores-Salazar posted a 9-7 overall record during his sophomore season in 16 matches for the Golden Wolves. Flores-Salazar wrestled at the 149 pound weight class and recorded three wins by major decision, two decisions, two sudden victories and one pin. Flores-Salazar also recorded a first place finish at the 2023 Tonee Ellis Memorial Tournament in the 157 pound bracket with two decisions and a pin en route to a 4-1 sudden victory in the final to secure first place. Flores-Salazar was also a member of a team that took home the team title at the Virginia Duals and also took second at the MAC Championships.
2022-2023 (First Year)
Flores wrestled in 30 matches for the Golden Wolves during his first year and posted a record of 21-9 at the 141 pound weight class. Flores tallied nine pins, 12 decisions, one technical fall, one major decision and one sudden victory. Flores was a member of a team that posted a 17-6 record in dual meets, two invite victories and finished second in both the MAC Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional.
