Platt wrestled in 22 matches for the Golden Wolves during his senior campaign and posted an even 11-11 record. Platt recorded four wins by decisions, four by pins, one by technical falls and one major decision wrestling at 133 pounds. Platt was a member of a team that finished second at both the MAC Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional.
