Circle wrestled in 36 matches for the Golden Wolves during his sophomore season and recorded a 23-13 record. Circle tallied nine wins by tech fall, seven by way of a pin, four by decision and two more by major decision. Two of Circle’s pins on the season came at the MAC Championships where he tallied two pins and a major decision heading into the third place match where he then took down Luke Moore from Delaware Valley by decision, 9-7 to secure third place and earn third team All-MAC honors. Circle was also a member of a team that posted a 19-5 overall dual record, took home the team title at the Virginia Duals and also recorded a second place team finish at the MAC Championships.

Circle competed in 26 matches for the Golden Wolves during his first year and posted a 16-10 record, wrestling at both 165 and 174 pounds. Circle recorded five pins, three major decisions and seven decisions. Circle was also a member of a team that finished second at the MAC Championships and the NCAA Southeast Regional.
