Shaw wrestled in 34 matches for the Golden Wolves and recorded a 24-10 overall record. Shaw tallied nine of his victories by tech falls, seven by major decision, six by decision and two by fall. Shaw recorded a second place finish at the 2024 MAC Championships, a fifth place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional and helped lead the Golden Wolves to a 19-5 team dual record, the team title at the Virginia Duals and also a second place finish at the MAC Championships.
2022-2023 (Sophomore)
Shaw wrestled in 34 matches for Alvernia during his sophomore campaign and tallied 20 wins and 14 losses at 125 pounds. Shaw tallied six wins by decision, four technical falls, three major decisions, three pins and two sudden victories. Shaw helped lead the Golden Wolves to a 17-6 record in dual meets, two invite victories and second place finishes at the MAC Championship and the NCAA Southeast Regional.
2021-2022 (First Year)
Shaw competed in 41 matches for the Golden Wolves during the 2021-2022 season and tallied a 31-10 overall record at the 125 pound weight class. Shaw’s 31 wins ranked him third on Alvernia and he was one of four Alvernia wrestlers to post a 30+ wins during the 2021-2022 season. Shaw tallied ten wins by decision, eight my major decision, five technical falls, three sudden victories and two pins. Shaw earned third team All-MAC honors with a third place finish in the 125 pound weight class at the MAC Championships and helped lead the Golden Wolves to a 16-4 record in dual meets, one invite victory, a third place finish at the MAC Championships and a second place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
