John O'Mara, Assistant Coach 

O'Mara joined the Alvernia staff for his first season in 2004 after two years of offering private baseball instruction at the Oley Valley Sports and Fitness Center. O'Mara was a four-year starter for Alvernia from 1993-1997, and was selected four-time All-PAC First team catcher. In 1993 he was selected as the Alvernia Baseball Freshman of the Year.

From 2000-2002 O'Mara was the Assistant Coach at Oley Valley High School, and from 2000-2003 he was the Oley Valley Junior Legion Coach.

In 2018, he completed his 15th season with Golden Wolves baseball.
