Seth Brunner joins the Alvernia University men's basketball staff for his first season as Director of Player Development, bringing a diverse background in collegiate coaching, high school coaching, and elite basketball skill development.

A former four-year player at Cairn University, Brunner helped the Highlanders capture the program's first conference championship before beginning his coaching career.
Brunner currently serves as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Faith Christian Academy, a position he has held for three seasons. During his tenure, he has led the Lions to two PIAA District semifinal appearances, a PIAA District Championship, and a berth in the PIAA State Sweet 16.

In addition to his role at Faith Christian, Brunner reunited with Head Coach Jason O'Connell at Cairn University, where he spent four seasons as an assistant coach. During his time on staff, he played an integral role in recruiting, player development, scouting, while helping the Highlanders reach four consecutive conference tournament appearances, highlighted by a 20-win season and a conference championship game appearance in 2025-26. He also helped develop 12 All-Conference selections while contributing to two conference regular season championships.

Brunner is also the founder of TBB Training, one of the region's premier basketball skill development organizations. He has worked with more than 200 NBA, WNBA, G League, overseas professional, including PJ Tucker, Collin Gillespie, and Mikal Bridges. He has also directed NBA pre-draft workouts in front of NBA teams.

Brunner earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Cairn University in 2020 and brings a passion for player development, relationship-building, and competitive excellence to the Alvernia men's basketball program.
