Lackman won the 165 lb bracket by defeating #4 Cooper Pontelandolfo of NYU in a 3-1 decision at the Ursinus Racich Rumble. The bout was a rematch of the 5th place match at last season's Division III National Championship. Lackman also recorded a 51 second fall, 18-3 technical fall, and two additional decisions en route to his win. His win helped lead Alvernia to a first place finish among 14 teams on Saturday.
