Pellot-Vazquez recorded three straight falls to pave his path to the championship bout, including a last second fall in the second round against Cortland's Steven Gazzilo, and a 30 second pin over Gettysburg's Brendan Loder in the 197 lb semifinal. Pellot-Vazquez then recorded a 17-6 major decision over Springfield's Casey Allen to win his bracket.
