Maggie Loomis went 4-0 in four appearances for Alvernia this week, including wins in both games of a conference doubleheader against Hood. Loomis finished the week with a 2.16 ERA. She struck out four batters, allowed just two walks, and had three complete games with one shutout appearance this week. In a 2-0 win over Rutgers Camden on Tuesday, Loomis went this distance and allowed just two hits while not walking a batter. In a 7-5 win over Dickinson, Loomis again went the full seven and struck out two batters. Loomis then picked up the win in five innings in game one against Hood. Loomis allowed just two earned runs and five hits with one strikeout. She then came in in relief to grab the win in game two of the doubleheader. Loomis did not allow a run and struck out a batter in three and two-thirds innings of work. Loomis also batted .333 on the week with seven hits, five runs scored, and four RBIs.
