Mylina Castillo was Alverina top women’s finisher on Saturday at the Alvernia Winter Invitational with a third place finish in the triple jump. Castillo jumped a 10.51m attempt in the preliminary round, and secured a third place finish with a 10.99m mark in the finals - bettering her prior season best by 0.2 meters. Castillo also took 17th in the long jump with a mark of 4.63m.
