COMPLETE RESULTS

Reading, Pa. (Sept. 22, 2007) – Sophomore Bridget Burger (Lansdale, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) ran the 5k course in 22:30 and finished sixth overall leading Alvernia College to a fourth place finish at the Penn State Berks Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning.

Burger finished 70 seconds behind Nyack's Sharon Fetters who set the pace in a time of 21:20. Alvernia's Sarah Cayliss (Bethel, Pa./Home School), making her first appearance of the season finished17th in 25:36. Lauren Rocchino (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) was 29th in 29:35, Veronica Marzen (Lehighton, Pa./Marian Catholic) was 38th in 32:52, and Rachel Spohn (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) finished 40th in 33:14.

Alvernia will run at the Cabrini College Invitational next Saturday.
