Reading, Pa. (Sept. 29, 2007) – Albright College scored in the 12th minute of play and made it stand up in a 1-0 win over Alvernia College Saturday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at Albright.

Shawn Gentile finished a feed from Chris Mignogna early in the first half and both goalies made four saves in a game that was relatively even. Albright held a slight 7-6 advantage in shots and Alvernia had a 4-3 edge in corners.

Alvernia will return to the conference schedule hosting Centenary College on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
