Bridget Burger (Lansdale, Pa/Lansdale Catholic) led the Women's Cross Country team with a time of 22:32 which was good for a 6th place finish at the Cumberland County Community College Invitational.
Freshman
Veronica Marzen (Lehighton, Pa./Marian Catholic) finished with a time of 30:40 and sophomore
Lauren Rocchino (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Center) was not far behind with finish of 30:47 in the 5K race.
Alvernia will now gear up to run on Sat. Sept.15 at the Cedar Crest College Invitational.
