Gabrielle Albanesius (Philadelphia, Pa./Merion Mercy Academy) led Alvernia University with 10 kills in a 4-game match, but the Crusaders (4-13, 0-4) fell to King's College (17-6, 3-2) by a 3-1 final Tuesday evening in Freedom Conference women's volleyball action at the Physical Education Center.
King's took control with a pair of close wins in the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-21. The host Crusaders came back in the third set with a 26-24 victory, but King's pulled out another 25-21 win in the fourth and deciding set.

Lauren Crimi (Easton, Pa./Notre Dame) finished with a team-high six digs.
Alvernia will host conference foe Delaware Valley next Wednesday.
