Bethlehem, Pa. (Sep. 1, 2007) - Alvernia College dropped a pair of games in the gold bracket of the 5th Annual Greyhound Premiere Volleyball Invitational, to Penn State-Altoona, 3-0, in the first game of pool play Saturday afternoon, and a 3-0 decision to Centenary College in game two.

Alvernia never got off the ground in the first match, losing by a 30-13, 30-13, 30-15 score to Penn State-Altoona. They dropped a closer second match to Centenary by a score of 30-16, 30-27, 30-19.

Freshman Leah Crimi was named to the All-Tournament Team for Alvernia.
