Annville, Pa. (Oct. 20, 2009) - Lebanon Valley College (24-1, 5-1) ran past Alvernia University (0-21, 0-6), 3-0 Tuesday evening in Commonwealth Conference women's volleyball action at LVC.

The Dutchmen took game one 25-4 and finished the match with 25-15 and 25-6 wins.  Alvernia sophomore Miranda Hedrick (Stowe, Pa./High Point Baptist) had two kills for the Crusaders while Diane Lightner (Gaithersburg, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) and Alyssa Soltis (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) had eight digs each to lead the team.

Alvernia returns home to face Moravian College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
