Reading, Pa. (Oct. 24, 2009) - Moravian College (13-16) earned a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (0-22) Saturday afternoon in non-conference women's volleyball action at the Physical Education Center.

The Greyhounds took each of the first two sets by 25-10 counts and won the third and deciding set 25-21.  Alvernia sophomores Alyssa Soltis (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) and Miranda Hedrick (Stowe, Pa./High Point Baptist) led the team with seven kills apiece while Hedrick and Nicole Swinehart (Hegins, Pa./Tri-Valley) led the way with 10 digs apiece.

Alvernia will travel to Immaculata on Monday and finish the season at Albright College on Wednesday.
