Madison, N.J. (Sept. 13, 2009) - Alvernia University (1-4) ripped off 11 shots, but couldn't find the back of the net in a 3-0 loss to Arcadia University (4-1-1) Sunday afternoon in the consolation game of the Drew Fall Women's Soccer Classic.

Arcadia scored two early goals getting tallies in the seventh and eight minutes and scored its final goal with just under 10 minutes left in the opening half.

Lindsey Neubauer (Merrick, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun) played her second game in net and stopped seven for the Crusaders.

Alvernia returns home to face Valley Forge Christian College next Thursday.
