Center Valley, Pa. (Sept. 26, 2009) - DeSales University (6-2) scored in the second minute of play and added three more in a 4-0 win over Alvernia University (3-5) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer action at DeSales.

Steve Krause netted a pair for the Bulldogs including the game-winner.  Alvernia sophomore Drew Gilbert (Reading, Pa./Antietam) went 66 minutes and made five saves in net for the Crusaders while a pair of keepers combined for four saves for the Bulldogs.

Alvernia has a week to prepare for the Commonwealth Conference opener against Elizabethtown College next Saturday.
