Reading, Pa. (Oct. 19, 2010) - The Alvernia University (7-12, 2-4 Comm.) fell to visiting Lebanon Valley College (19-8, 6-0 Comm.) this evening in Commonwealth Conference action by scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-16. 

Alvernia had 15 kills on the night, led by Angela Altemose (Pottsville, Pa./Nativity BVM) with five and Nicole Swinehart (Hegins, Pa./Tri-Valley) with four.  Sophomore setter Tori Beck (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) had 13 assists on the day while Alyssa Soltis (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) led the squad with four service aces.

The Crusaders return to action when they host Albright College for a 'dig pink' Commonwealth match-up on Oct.27.
