Reading, Pa. (Oct. 20, 2010) - Ninth-ranked Messiah College (13-1, 4-0) kept its conference record perfect with a 3-0 win at Alvernia University (8-6-1, 2-3) Wednesday evening in a Commonwealth Conference men's soccer match at Schlager Memorial Field.

The Falcons got on the board in the 23rd minute when Geoff Pezon cleaned up a ball in front of the box for his seventh of the year.  They went up two three minutes later and capped the scoring with a goal three minutes into the second half.

Alvernia keepers Drew Gilbert (Reading, Pa./Antietam) and Ben Diller (Etters, Pa./Red Land) combined for a dozen saves on the night.

The Crusaders continue the conference schedule hosting Widener University on Wednesday.
