BOX SCORE
Reading, Pa. (Sept. 22, 2010) - Freshman
Katelyn Gill (State College, Pa./State College Area) assisted on both goals leading Alvernia University (6-2-1) to a 2-1, double overtime win over DeSales University (5-3) Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's soccer action at Schlager Memorial Field.

Kelsey Gill (State College, Pa./State College Area) for the Crusaders' regulation goal in the 58th minute.
Both teams had several opportunities to score in the first half, but the game remained scoreless through the first half. The Crusaders missed wide right on one breakaway and fired a pointblank shot right into DeSales keeper Melissa Millili.
Kirsten Kelley (Kirkwood, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) made a diving save on the Bulldogs' best chance, and freshman Brady Walsh whistled a left-footer just wide.
Kelsey Gill opened the scoring 12 minutes into the second half and the Crusaders were eyeing their fourth straight shutout until Jena Meaney knotted the score in the 80th minute. Alvernia had a shutout streak to over 300 straight minutes with a tie against Richard Stockton, and wins over King's and York.
Kelley finished with seven saves and Millili stopped eight for DeSales.
Alvernia will continue the season hosting Valley Forge on Monday.
