Reading, Pa. (Oct. 24, 2011) - Three different players found the back of the net for Alvernia University (9-7-1) in a 3-0 win over King's College (3-14) Monday evening in non-conference women's soccer action at the Physical Education Center.

The Crusaders got on the board early when Rachel Gimber (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) scored her third goal of the season in the eighth minute.  Karli Nestor (Bally, Pa./Boyertown) made it 2-0 Crusaders with her sixth of the season in the 22nd minute and Jackie Capuano (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) made it 3-0 with her first of the season in the 84th minute.

Lindsey Neubauer (Merrick, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun) made her second start in net and recorded one save in 45 minutes splitting the shutout with Jamie Dearie (Easton, Pa./Notre Dame Green Pond).

Alvernia continues the non-conference schedule at Delaware Valley on Wednesday.
