Owings Mill, Md. (Oct. 27, 2012) - Stevenson University (12-4-2, 6-1-2) netted five second-half goals in a 6-0 win over Alvernia University (8-9-3, 2-6-1) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference women's soccer action at Stevenson.

Colleen Maher (Wall, N.J./Wall Township) made three of her five saves in the first half to keep the Crusaders within striking distance.
The Mustangs came out of the break with two quick goals to establish some separation. They scored just 42 seconds after the restart then again two minutes later for a 3-0 lead then posted goals in the 66th minute, the 78th minute and finally in the 84th minute.
Stevenson advances to the Commonwealth Championships next week while the Crusaders season comes to a close.
