Reading, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2012) - Lebanon Valley (6-5, 2-1) scored once in each half in a 2-0 win over Alvernia Universitiy (6-5-2, 0-2-1) Saturday afternoon in a Commonwealth Conference women's soccer match at Schlager Memorial Field.

The Dutchmen opened the scoring in the 33rd minute when Amanda Douglass setup Stevi Laird for her second goal of the season.  In the 58th minute the Dutchmen struck again when Nicole Snyder scored her eighth of the season.

Alvernia junior Colleen Maher (Wall, N.J./Wall Township) made 11 saves in net for the Crusaders.

Alvernia will continue the season Wednesday at Elizabethtown.
