Galloway, N.J. (Sept. 15, 2012) - Richard Stockton (3-2-1) scored the first goal of the second half for a 2-0 lead then threw in two quick goals later in the half for a 4-0 win over Alvernia University (4-1-2) Saturday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer action at Stockton.

The Ospreys got on the board just over four minutes into the game and were able to hold the Crusaders to just one shot over the opening 45 minutes taking a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.  Alvernia goalie Ben Diller (Etters, Pa./Red Land) made four saves in the first and finished with eight on the day.

Stockton scored even quicker in the second half needing just 3:41 to push its lead to 2-0.  The Ospreys doubled their lead scoring twice in the 75th and 78th minutes for the 4-0 final.

Alvernia was able to crank up the offense a bit more in the second half ripping off seven shots, but Stockton keeper Bob Millar saved all three that were on target.

The Crusaders return home to host Cabrini on Tuesday.
