(Sept. 29, 2012) - Sophomore Josh Wollaston (Middletown, Del./Caravel Academy) scored on an assist from senior Kyle Martyn (Media, Pa./Penncrest) midway through the first overtime period to give Alvernia University (6-2-3, 1-0) a 1-0 win over Lycoming College (3-4-1, 0-1) Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Conference men's soccer action at Lycoming.

Alvernia senior Ben Diller (Etters, Pa./Red Land), the career leading in shutouts at Alvernia with 18, made two of his four saves on the day in the final 20 minutes of regulation.  The Warriors had the last three cracks before overtime but were off the mark each time.
