Lancaster, Pa. (Oct. 28, 2013) - Senior Kristen Rupp (Cranford, N.J./Cranford) racked up a team-high 18 kills to lead Alvernia University (6-18) to a 3-1 win over Lancaster Bible College (13-23) Monday evening in non-conference women's volleyball action at LBC.

The Crusaders took the opening set 25-20 and the Chargers leveled the match with a 26-24 win in the second set.  Alvernia took the third and fourth sets by identical scores of 25-21.

Rupp had 58 swings for the Crusaders and hit .224 with five errors.  Jamie Morris (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) had 43 assists and three different Crusaders had 24 or more digs led by 26 each from Morris and Teresa Zavala (Temple, Pa./Muhlenberg).

Alvernia wraps up the season Wednesday evening at Widener.
