Carlisle, Pa. (Sept. 14, 2013) - No. 12 Dickinson College (5-0) scored early in each half on its way to a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (3-3) Saturday evening in non-conference men's soccer action at Dickinson.

The Red Devils scored in the sixth minute for an early lead then 12 minutes later to double the lead.  They added a third goal just under four minutes into the second half to close the scoring.

Reed Milbrath made five saves in net to record the shutout.  Alvernia sophomore David Giannini (Harleysville, Pa./Faith Christian) made five stops for the Crusaders.

Alvernia returns home to face Franklin & Marshall on Wednesday.
