Albright Betters Alvernia, 3-0

Reading, Pa. (Sept. 10, 2014) - Albright College (3-4, 1-0) took a 3-0 win over Alvernia University (3-4, 0-1) Wednesday evening in Commonwealth Conference women's volleyball action at Albright.

The Lions earned the win with set wins of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-22.

Alvernia got a match-high 10 kills from freshman Kristen Sipling, 28 assists from sophomore Jamie Morris, and 14 digs from Teresa Zavala.

Alvernia continues Commonwealth Conference play on Tuesday, hosting Lebanon Valley College at 7:00.
