Reading, Pa. (Sept. 16, 2014) – Alvernia University (3-5, 0-2) suffered a 3-0 loss to Lebanon Valley College (8-2, 1-1) Tuesday evening at home in Commonwealth Conference action.

The Dutchmen earned the win with set wins of 25-13, 25-12, and 25-22.

The Crusaders led Lebanon Valley 20-18 in the third match, but were outscored 7-2 in the final stretch.

Jamie Morris had 17 assists for Alvernia, while Teresa Zavala pulled out 7 digs.

Alvernia returns to action on September 24^th, traveling to Arcadia to continue Commonwealth Conference play.
