Reading, Pa. (Sept. 20, 2014) - Alvernia University (4-3-1) scored early in the second half for the 1-0 victory over DeSales University (3-4-1) Saturday Afternoon at the Alvernia Turf Field in non-conference action.
Â
Just over five minute into the second half, senior Alex Martyn put the Crusaders on the board when he netted Josh Wollaston's set up for his fifth goal of the season. Martyn's goal, which was driven past a diving DeSales goalie, proved to be the only one the Crusaders would need.
