Collegeville, Pa. (Sept. 24, 2014) - Ursinus College (2-4-1) snuck in the game's only goal with one second left in the opening half of a 1-0 win over Alvernia University (4-5) Wednesday evening in non-conference women's soccer action at Ursinus.

Margaret Burnett handling the first six that were on frame. In the final seconds of the half, Valerie Bedrock sent a pass from the left wing across to the opposite side where Ama Achiaw buried the chance just before the horn.
Alvernia, which was limited to just a single shot in the first 45 minutes, ramped up the offense in the second half resulting in six shots, but Ursinus keeper Courtney Sullivan kept the sheet clean making a pair of saves.
Alvernia returns home to host Penn State-Berks next Wednesday.
