Annville, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2015) – Alvernia University (2-10-1, 0-2) was unable to hold off Lebanon Valley College (9-3, 2-1), falling 3-2 in MAC Commonwealth women's soccer action Saturday afternoon at LVC.

Johnna Shank, who lofted in her sixth of the year for the 1-0 advantage.
The Dutchmen squared things up five minutes later, bringing a 1-1 tie into the half.
Alvernia reclaimed the lead in the 67
th minute, capitalizing on a corner opportunity. Shank posted her second goal of the day as
Bailey Stover lofted the insert towards the middle of the goal and Shank connected for the 2-1 lead.
LVC kept at it though, netting the equalizer just before the 80
th minute and notching the go ahead with just over two minutes left in play.
Jessica Plunkett suffered the loss in goal, wrangling seven saves on the day.
Alvernia continues its Commonwealth Conference schedule on Tuesday, traveling to Albright College for a 7:00 game.
