Glenside, Pa. (Oct. 21, 2015) - Arcadia University (6-10, 1-4) scored three straight goals for a 4-1 win over Alvernia University (9-6, 2-3) Wednesday evening in MAC Commonwealth Field Hockey action at Arcadia.
Arcadia had a 1-0 lead going into the second half as it netted its first goal just under four minutes before halftime.
Alvernia made the most of its first shot in the second half, scoring the equalizer in the 40th minute.

Margaret Wentzel.
Arcadia's Debbie Wolfe sparked its offense over the next eight minutes, handing out three assists to give Arcadia the 4-1 margin.
Alvernia generated offensive bursts at the end of each half, but were unable to convert.
Alexis Krall ripped back-to-back shots to close out the first, and four different Crusaders rocketed shots in the final four minutes, but Arcadia's Brittany Hodson was solid in the net.
