Owings Mill, Md. (Oct. 27, 2015) - Stevenson University (24-7, 8-0) remained undefeated in the MAC Commonwealth with a 3-0 victory over Alvernia University (12-16, 3-4) Tuesday evening in women's volleyball action at Stevenson.

The Mustangs opened the match with a 25-11 win in set one, went up 2-0 with a 25-10 in the second set, and closed the match with a 25-16.

Alvernia got a team-high six kills from Kristen Sipling and seven digs from Krissy Silio.

The Crusaders return home for an important match up with Hood on Thursday evening.  A win over the Blazers guarantees the Crusaders would make their first MAC Commonwealth postseason appearance.
