Baltimore, Md. (Apr. 20, 2015) - Johns Hopkins (19-9-1) had a pair of 4-run innings in a 15-3 win over Alvernia Univeresity (26-9) Monday afternoon in non-conference baseball action at Hopkins.
The Jays scored four runs in the third for a 4-1 lead, and four more in the fifth to push ahead 8-2.

Ben Sawyer scored twice for the Crusaders who saw a 13-game win streak come to an end.Â
Zach Nadolny tripled and homered to lead the Alvernia offense. Sawyer had the only other multi-hit game for the Crusaders.
Alvernia got work for five different pitchers with
Antonio Baglivo going the first four and giving up six runs on eight hits.
The Crusaders face Moravian on the road on Wednesday before returning to the conference schedule at Arcadia on Friday.
